Due to the lockdown, the teams were not able to connect and bond since long. There was a need to bring in synergy and collaboration back in the team. The objective was also to lift the spirits of employees through a highly engaging workshop.
A Virtual Session of 45 minutes was proposed to address the business need. Thought Bulb used the Collaborative Art Challenge to address the need.
It all started with the employees coming together on a virtual Zoom call at a preset time. The session started with Virtual icebreakers with the aim to energise the employees before the start of the activity. Further the employees were divided into Teams and weblink for Collaborative Art was provided to them.
In the Collaborative Art challenge, different team members come together to create a Virtual Art on a pre-decided theme. The Activity works in a way that each team member colours the Virtual picture simultaneously. This fosters team work, communication, and problem solving in the team.
Once the teams were done, they presented their work virtually to everyone and different awards were presented based on their performance.
Problem Solving, Collaboration, and Creativity.
The entire activity summary can be summed up with this beautiful quote by Mother Teresa –
“None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”
